OrionStang
what are you gonna use if you sell rainbows may i ask? Got my eye on Hertz again. Mounting ring? To help keep things mounted due to weight? Or the motor too big like the level 5 tens? I like the build mang. The motor is almost the same diameter as the basket mounting circle. Its better to have the ring than to have your mounting screws right next to the cutout, for strength. That's sub is sexy bro can't wait to c that bad boy moving Yep, thanks. And me too. OrionStang
Thinking of a midbass idea here. This is more for kick and bass at low listening levels. I want to put a couple 8's in, one behind each seat to play 100hz and down. Kick location would be ideal, but there just isn't the room, especially driver's side. I will keep the Rainbows and the 6.5's will play 80 to 300. Thoughts? SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
94retta(219)
If its going to be for 100hz and down put them in the rear deck (not sure which "behind the seats" your talkin about) you dont really need to worry about stageing for that BUILD LOG
OrionStang
Behind the front seats, on the floor, in a proper enclosure. The back seat is now an amp rack and the rear deck is completely sealed off. I want to overlap the 6.5s and 8s, so the 6.5s will be the "loud" and the 8s can add the "oomph".
