OrionStang Posted August 26, 2011 Author Report Posted August 26, 2011 Where to put all the crossovers Is this a serious question, or a lead up into their installation? I've always thought trunk mounted crossovers were sexy. Don't know if that affects sound though. Kinda thinking out loud lol. I think crossover closer to speaker is better, but probably not noticeable on this setup. so your not selling the rainbows anymore? Nobody's buying. Cheap bastards. hahaha times are hard Ain't that the truth. looking good... :drink40: Thank you. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

OrionStang Posted August 26, 2011 Author Report Posted August 26, 2011 Have you heard the rainbows play yet? Looking at piecing pieces together possibly for my 3 way. Looking good too...bet they'll get loud...how you powering all of them? Not hooked up yet. In the middle of moving this week, so it's going slow. Going on the 175.4 until I get a real amp and processor for a true active setup. They up and playing yet? Probably a couple more days, Scott. Between moving and school, not much time. Plus its fucking hot. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
OrionStang Posted August 26, 2011 Author Report Posted August 26, 2011 Having an issue getting the 2 midrange to fit in the factory speaker location. If they were 3 or even 3 1/2 inches, they would fit. Might have to do one there for now, and figure out something else for the second one. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

The hybrids sound awesome. Give them about 120 watts and they will stay loud and clear. They are the only speakers I've had hooked up for the past couple weeks, so I've had a chance to really listen to them. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
