If your not in a hurry look into Fi's SSD, otherwise choose whats in your budget thats available. Too many people here just follow the hype. People have level 3's and love them, people have sa-12's and love them.. unless you can find someone who has both and has tested each one properly then who knows. the facts have been laid out here for you.

I think im going to wait to take a look at the new fi ssd's and then new lvl3 (if they are coming out) and then make a decision. Thank you to everyone who has helped :drinks:

I would use the DC, thats just my opinion. I like being able to call up a company and speak to the owner on the phone. DC has some of the best customer service I have ever seen and thats why I will be a customer for life. But there is also nothing wrong with sundown, I love there amps and have used several different models. I just wish the SA sub used a 3" voice coil. I would stick with either the DC LVL 3 or SA-12 both can take power, sound good, and put up great numbers at the same time. I have yet to see a Fi sub in person put up a good number in person, they can take lots of power but if it can't put up a good number while doing so then the sub is not for me.

Jacob is very easy to reach either via email or on the forums...I haven't tried calling, but I assume it'd be just as easy.

I still don't get the problem with the sa 12 having a 2.5" coil? I guess it can't take enough power

You're right. Being as we have used the 2500 series DDs, and the SA parts can be used, with anything more then 2000 daily, they won't be very happy. We know.

A larger coild dissipates heat better, why do you think 4" coils have such high power handling.
