loganberry
Wow great box, everything on this build is real planned and you can tell not a single thing is rushed. Its a breath of fresh air to see a proper build every now and then and this is one....now just don't ruin all my nice words by covering it ugly lol. I would brace your port too inside you may think it won't but it makes a audible difference in loudness. Just use 2 of those dowels cause the port looks fairly long measure length and width and screw them in a good distance from eachother and thank me later My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk

I may not have top of the line equipment(yet), but at least I can make the most of what I've got, right? And don't worry, I'm going to fiberglass the outside of the box and paint it to match my dash, black night metallic. Should look sexy! And thank you for the advice on the bracing in the port. I think I will do exactly that. Me and my dad were talking about it last night, he said the same thing. Well, he said, "I think you need to put that dowel rod inside the port too". So yeah you just confirmed what I was already thinking... Thank you! And again thanks for the kind words. Actually I am starting on it right now, the sun finally came out, and it's time for work! More pics tonight! Purplehaze
Thanks to all for all the kind words! Here is what all I got done today. First I added more bracing 15 total triangles, 8 up top and 7 at the bottom. Also I added bracing in the port. Then I flipped it upside down to start the resin fun! Then, I got my brother to weld me up a resin mixer! There we have the first "mix" of resin One good coat all inside and drying Then when it got dark I moved it in to the building for the night More to come... bassahaulic
Hey man. Can I get some information about the MLA? How easy was it to install? How much was it? How much has it helped your voltage drop? PM me, if you wish, about the price.
