MrSkippyJ
I'm getting really happy with these subs!!!! They are starting to break in and the lows are really starting to grab ya. It actually started to "hurt" my ear this morning! I should get it metered this weekend again, let's see if I am abov the 142.7 I got when they had about an hour of playtime on them. MrSkippyJ
So I have a question. I am convinced my car just peaks fairly high, all 3 sub woofer set ups I have had in this car peaked high. One thing I have noticed with this set up is that with the hatch cover off and the back seats up the lows are considerably better than any other configuration I have found yet. Does this configuration somehow mimic a 6th order (with the seats creating a port of sorts) or am I just hearing things and it all really sounds the same? One thing you can't really tell by the picture is the top of the seats, when up like this in the picture, are only about 10" from the hatch door. So the width on the baffle from the seats to hatch is about 19" I think and from top of the seats to hatch is about 1/2 that width. Like this (only with the hatch closed but I needed it open to take the picture) F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69

MrSkippyJ
Bought a new H/U, my factory H/U didn't have a D/A convertor (I think that is what you call it) for the iPod. Even though it controlled the iPod, the signal coming in was already converted. I bought a new H/U, just a simple din sized Pioneer that has USB and AUX inputs to replace the factory unit. Sounds great, no more significant sound loss with the iPod I need to redo my settings since I used the DD-1 to tune to my factory unit. And a cool new shifter F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69
