just a little heads up, you should probably go and get your audio stuff out of your car, like subs and amps..

unless you really trust those people.

if they get stolen, the insurance company will probably try and fuck you.

yeah. I am waiting on that. The police tow report has all equipment noted. Insurance also knows about it. The body shop people I trust, I have done lots of business with them. the thing that sucks is, i have to take the seats out to get the amps out. I am less worried about those than the subs. Thanks for the heads up tho!

think about how you'd rob your amps if you were a thief.. is there ANY possible way to get them out without taking the seat out?

crow baring the frame, grabbing and ripping the amp out of its position, crow baring the amp and ripping it out.

if you cant do any of those things, you can leave them in.

but the subs.. ehhh i'd go pick them up with a friend, then i could sleep at night.

I am supposed to hear from insurance tomorrow about totaling the car or not. At that point, it will either be me getting everything out or towing it to the shop. I will take the subs out then, but while the car is there, it would be random theft and not the place. I agree I am leaving it up to chance at this point, but I can't afford to miss work (teacher) to do this. I would rather take a chance at insurance covering stuff (which they know about and have said they would) than chance anything with my job. It sucks, but if audio getting stolen is the worst thing that happens to me, I will die happy

Got my car to the body shop finally, got to check out everything on the inside and all is well. Now just a wait till it gets fixed.

just waiting on a axle but the guys working on my car were asking for a demo. didn't have my faceplate so I promised them one once it was all fixed back up.

Got my car back and all is well. I did a brake and rotor job then got busy on my power wires. I previously had a 4 gauge wire running to each amp from the battery. I decided a single 0 gauge them split into two 4 gauge wires would be better. I got a fused power and ground distribution block and put it inside my center console.
