My boy is looking to get a woofer or 2 in his car, because he wants a little extra hit/kick to his music.. Mainly pop songs, etc..

He needs a box.. a sub.. a amp.. and wires..

Problem is, he's got $110 to spend.. I told him just to wait and save it up.. But he insists he wants it now.. He's not a bass head, he just wants some kick..

Any ideas?

He fell in love instantly... Bid is over, but I'm sure there's plenty more of those.

Thanks!

EDIT: It's not my money hah, .. I just told him I'd help him find something.. (Trust me, I tried to tell him just to save up..) Oh well.

For $110, I doubt he's going to find a box/sub/amp/wiring...

My friend has the same budget, as it's all he gets paid from the National Guard, so I told him I'll build the box for free, give him some wire and give him my amp when I upgrade my system. He wants a DD1508, which is still going above his budget. The sub is all he has to buy and it's too much... So unless your friend gets donations from friends, I don't see him getting much for that budget.

If he just wants a little kick for pop music, he might be able to find a pair of components with a bit of bass. My Fusions have a good bit of bass to them, my friends actually thought I had a 8" under my seat. The pair cost $100... Thats just an example. I don't know much about car audio though, so yeah... Lol.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

best bet would be to go used with that kinda budget

I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.
