adam6604 Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 so im looking at audiosavings for a new amp.. just found out my RE's are D2 subs. so i need 2000+rms at 2 ohms, im new and dont want to try a .5 ohm.. but only amp that says it puts out that power ( REALLY cheap ) is "DB bass inferno" and personally i have never heard of them. like no amps put out 2000RMS@ 2 ohm that i can find under 500$ lol help? Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi. Audio: Two 10" Alpine Type R's ( 1000rms models ) Hifonics BRZ 2400.1D @ .5 ohm Two Kinetic 1400 batteries ( soon to have XS power under hood ) Tsunami 1/0 Awg wire throughout truck. Stock Infinity 7 speaker system ( Junk ) soon to be replaced, probably all Alpine. Exterior: 17"Dick cepek rims with 33" Toyo MT tires Bushwacker fender flares Magnaflow true duel exhaust LED tail lights with Projector headlights Plasti-dip fun coming soon!

adam6604 Posted March 15, 2011 Author Report Posted March 15, 2011 lol alright, how about Power Acoustic amps? im not doing any comps or anything just daily beat with my 2 15's.. i hear good andbad about Power Acoustic.. they rate 2500rms @ 2 ohms and thats PERFECT for my subs, and not to mention my price range... what do you all think? Supercharged DCs Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 Hifonics Colossus around $550 new, says it puts out 3200W RMS at 2 ohms when you bridge it. Not sure how accurate the rating is though. Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
