Caps are larger, Also looks like they used different filters and killed the chokes sandwiched between the caps.They tried the removal of the chokes in our 2500's too. The coat hanger wire pass through were a nice touch. It's been stated on here that the output sections has been reworked, Sadly that wasn't even close to the issues we had. Not sure why they have those chokes there anyway... getting mad ripple through the rails or something? But yeah, there's another pair of caps and they've taken the fans out. But functionally it's the same amp and I'm pretty damn sure the important bits like the drive circuitry will be all the same. Basically it's a V.2 of the original...
