bignickk Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 i have a zx2500 right now and for the price i could have gotten an "underground" amp for cheaper. you pay cause it says kicker. they do slightly more then ratted but the 2500 is kind of power hungry. over all a good brand in my book But what other quote on quote Underground amp would work bettery in you particular situation, since with the sub in your sig you can only wire to 2ohms or 8ohms.... i had the amp from my last build. 2 l7s. i decided to switch to the orion so i got dual 4. once i get another hello sundown 4500. 2000 tahoe orion hcca 15.4 kicker zx2500 2 JL 300/4s infinity and kicker mids/highs KHC1400 in back, stock upfront dont ask about my HU clarion EQ kicker/fosgate rcas

S15_Silvia Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 I used to have two CVR 8s in a ported enclosure...to me, they always seemed more about making noise than sounding half decent. They definitely were NOT musical subs. KickerKid58 Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 I honestly think kicker is not a bad brand. def have their ups and downs but who doesnt? I dont think you can find a cheaper sub thats BNIB that will bump for the low power it needs (comps).
