I mean is KICKER truely a bad brand? Honestly not trying to bash but dont like kicker at all. idk why i just dont but are they truely bad? You know how you avoid that? Supercharged DCs Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 I have a Kicker Cvr12 off a 200.2 Rf amp... I hate my current system. I was spoiled by my first system, a stroker122 on a 1200w kicker amp (which was pretty good) and the quality was great. But my Cvr sounds like shit to me, and I'm trying to get rid of it lol Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
CaptainzPlanetz Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 As with any known brand thats been around for a while you are always gonna pay a little more......but I have personally owned several kicker amps and they have always been great, and I also once owned a pair of CVX's and they were great subs too, I sold them to some kid about 2 years ago and they are still going ultra clipped signal and all. Edit: Also if you get it from a good authorized dealer the warranty is great, When I was first starting out I had a ZX.1500 blow due to my mistake, it cost me 20 bucks to get a brand new amp from kicker, same with my buddy with his sub, send it in they send you back a brand new one no questions asked. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ I don't think they make junk, but you could probably do better for the money. CVRs were great, loved them and they perform amazingly in sealed enclosures. L7s do have loose and overall shaking bass, no real SQ to them though. CVTs are a great rock or hip hop sub, very punchy and damn good for very small spaces. Comps are well worth the 100 you pay for them, or at least i think they are, they can get pretty loud for a 150rms 12.
