2x Level 5 18" boot install

Recommended Posts

with only 2k per sub i think you'd be louder with some xl's..but the install is really nice and i like it

c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old.

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.

I need to get some more power from a new alt, then when i have a bit of cash i want to upgrade to the DC amps. would love to give them 5k each, but probably more likely to get the 3.5k ones.

the box works out roughly 12 cubes after displacements :)

well i got a bit bored and wanted some more. moved the amps and changed the port.

got an extra 49 square inches, and it is quite a lot more brutal.

future plans are the alternator. thats next on my list of things to do.

and then upgrade the amps. what would you guys recomend feeding these subs? i was thinking a sundown 3500 to each one. would they take more than that tho as people run those amps on the XL's. what would the Lv 5 take daily?
