fox_racin4 Posted October 23, 2014 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2014 Well....... After a couple hours of demoing I believe the regulator cooked an alt.. Or an alt over heated ( constant 350/400a per...they was a little warm) still haven't pulled alt to see what let go. I know that the regulator was previously shorted ( with old ALTs) so not sure if it was just weak and let go or what.m but there's a new regulator on, and the old will be repairs/rebuilt with bigger diodes. They were essentially a science project and they worked pretty well..
