But before I finally decide I'm going to ask one more time. My budget is between $1,800-$2200. I currently have: 50' 0 Gauge. Valor Multimedia Double Din Volt Meter. Speaker Wire RCA Wire. Big 3 MDF What this budget should cover: Sub woofer.(s): Amplifier: Component Amplifier: Component Speakers: 4 Channel RCA wire. Rear 6x9's: Battery(ies): Alternator if needed: Deadener: This is all going in a Pontiac G6 GT, trunk build. I know I can safely fit 1 15" subwoofer, or 2 12". in the trunk. System is for daily play no competitions at all. More of a ground and pound style. Clean Install. I appreciate all criticism, and opinions. Supercharged DCs Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 What are you looking for out of the system? For some, a decent sub on decent power is loud. For others it's shit. What sound are you looking for? Is sound quality more important than sound pressure? Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

So in a sense, anything that makes noise has "SPL". Thus to produce any sort of sound quality, you'd need some sort of "SPL" If you meant that being loud, and having good sound quality don't really mix, once again I'd have to rebuttal, their are plenty of balanced systems on this forum who can score high on the term lab yet retain the quality of their music. As for the topic, I have a clear idea of where I'm heading with my build, I'm just looking for opinions on what the individuals on this community would prefer and why.
