Wiring 2 Component Sets w/ Crossovers on One Channel

I'll be running 2 sets of comp.'s per channel when I build my doors. Would I wire the crossover inputs like this? (Pretend the pictured speakers are the x-overs)

Note, my components are 2 ohm so it would be a load of 4.

Alright, I just wired it all up this way and it came out to a final impedence of 5 ohms. Now I gotta figure out how many watts per channel the DC 175.4 will put out per channel at 5 ohms.

How did you get 5 ohms. Ied like to know if there is a better way. I'm considering doing this also

Yeah thats how I did it. The final imp came to 5ohms. The mids are 2ohm and the tweeters are 3ohm. I didn't check the crossovers alone to see what their imp is.

your set is never gonna be exactly 2 ohms. mabey each is around 2.5 and after you put them in series it added to 5 ohms? thats my guess at ti

Nope. Nothings getting hooked up until my door panels get done.

Well each component in this component set has a different impedence, so I don't know. It is what it is, just gotta see if its loud enough at that impedence.

im sure its just a tad less than 175 watts maybe 125-150 watts thats just a guess though but i would suggest wiring everything together then checking the imp before hooking it to the amp

wire em pos to pos n neg to neg n see if final rise is 2ohm or so

if both sets get u a 5ohm load maby 2 in parallel will give u 2.5ohm load?

dont hook it up to amp like this till u figure out the final ohm load and if its around 2ohms u should be good

ive seen people run a/b amps at lower ohm loads and been fine with it, even most ma audio amps are able to run down to .5ohms stereo

if ur running a 4ch ied just run 1 set off one channel n 1 set off the other, unless your gunna use other channels for more speakers
