Combine the amperage ratings from all the amps your going to run....and that will be the size fuse you will need from the battery. No, the wire determines the fuse size. Current draw does determine how many necessary runs though. ? He asked what size fuse...the combined amperage of your amps is the size fuse you use. If that works for you, then by all means do it. I'll get the most out of my wire while being safe... TheyDontWantMusic Posted April 12, 2011 Report Share Posted April 12, 2011 put a 250amp fuse on the 0ga, and 50amp fuses on each of the 8ga, depending what they're powering though, some you might want to fuse at 60amp and others at 40amp.
