J.Reed Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Your should see peaks around 69hz give or take a 2 either way, and your 1/4 34.6 give or take a 2hz either way. What is your box tuned to this will can effect what you actually see big time. That look like a long wave path for that car

Tell me if I am right first....LOL With normal music tuning 32-35hz Im sure your probably pretty close lol. Depending cubic foot and tune I can definitely see it playing 40s peaks lol and bet it is good and flat too if so. Guess we will wait and see what it is actually tuned to and his peaks

And as I have said all along certain cars are just odd balls. Your could be one of such ones. With that hatch angle and not having measured my self correctly for you. I will say there is quite a window of error. Epecially with how your just trying your utmost to prove me wrong. What is this exact car? TL pics of results? BTW thats about 10 vehicles I have done in the past year and 2 others here backing my theory to one that is not lol. So I will stick to it lol

I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.
TheyDontWantMusic Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 the car has been tested with the ported box pictured, 80 litres tuned to 49hz, for spl. A 90cm long wave guide of sorts, a 40hz folded horn and a 40hz transmission line. All peak at 51hz. Theory is great but i've tested enough cars to know it very rarely works in practice.
corteznewbie Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 so then how low can i play my box is 7.5 cubes net tuned to 35hz and to me it sounds best on slowed or deep bass songs. i'm running custom dc lvl4's on 3k and i was told my jeep peaks at 35hz or 40 hz cant remember Team DBs (Driven By sound)
