TheyDontWantMusic Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 if it were wired backwards you would be melting the fuse not just popping it eh? most amplifiers with internal fusing have a diode across the input, so if you connect the battery reverse polarity, the diode conducts, and blows the fuse.

Posted April 21, 2011 Author Report Posted April 21, 2011 so if i accidently hooked up the battery wrong i most likely fucked the amp?? because i was an idiot an didnt look at the labels on the battery . man this sucks more hassle well i guess ill just send it back saying it was broken when i got it but i guess ill try hooking it up backwards on the amp??
