ive never heard that arc was in any way related to JL but i have seen them compared to each other quite a bit, either way both offer quality

Like I said, heard it from my local audio shop. Not my word.

I am trying to remember the line of amps that were affiliated with JL. I know it started with an A and it was definitely not Arc..

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

a buddy of mine gave me his arc audio 4050 cxl. anyone know if this companys any good? ive never even heard of them.

Arc Audio is Designed by Robert Zeff (the founder of Zapco) They are located in the Modesto, Salida area.

Their R&D guy is a HUGE sound quality nut, also one of their sales guys has an award winning car. (S.Q.)

I would place their equipment in the high end category, with one line that lands in the mid-end of the market.

The CEO goes WAY back into the Car Audio Days. If I remember right he was one of Zapco's first dealers.
