2000 watts upgradde help please

Recommended Posts

I'm doing the Big 3 in my Dodge Dakota and have a XS D3400 under the hood, stock alt and I plan on running a AQ2200.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

im not the op but my stock alt is like 109. so i cant get by with just stock alt and one batt under hood for 2200rms?

My stock alt is 117A, I plan to watch my voltage but I think I'll be fine. Just watch your voltage and you should be good as well ;)

The only way to know when to upgrade is to watch your voltage. If it drops too much, you should upgrade. However, I wouldn't attempt to put much more than 2000w on stock alt, wanna play it safe.
