squidder
I have a 2011 avalanche and was wondering what type of upgrades I would have to do in order to have enough power for 2000 Watts. What I need a new alternator? Or just a big battery? Thanks for the help

My stock alt is 117A, I plan to watch my voltage but I think I'll be fine. Just watch your voltage and you should be good as well Quote Bassless once again. fmedina
very nice good to hear. so how do you know when to further upgrade your electrical. i heard on stock alt no more than 2k watts?
Supercharged DCs
The only way to know when to upgrade is to watch your voltage. If it drops too much, you should upgrade. However, I wouldn't attempt to put much more than 2000w on stock alt, wanna play it safe. Quote Bassless once again.
