Yeah the frame would be better then seat belt bolt. But the battery negative is best. And look at your other thread I responded.

A weak connection causes the flow of electrons to jump(arc) across the metal, giving it a delay in connection, thus you see a dimming.

Just to get it straight... Grounding is really just completely the connection, right?

The chassis just acts as a connection to completely the circuit going back to the battery? Which would explain why the best option is to run the ground all the way to the battery itself?

Or is this completely wrong?

So I grounded it o the frame this morning. Found a bolt that was holding a brake line(?) in place. I sanded it down and added my ground. Got out and checked for dimming lights, and still got them. BUT, at least, I know that ground is right now! So, today I'm gonna try and borrow a friends voltmeter or just go buy a cheap one and see what's up! I figure I just need another battery or two!

Not really.. The electrons just don't complete the circle, you lose a few(thru heat) or they slow down.

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
