Luckiest man in car audio today

Damn he is lucky. But wasn't that more of an amp thing, not a fuse thing? Or was it a combo of both?

This is why we don't install capacitors...

I kid, I kid. He's damn lucky that seat didn't go up in flames and take the rest of the car with it. You know damn well he'll have some fuses in there when he re-wires everything!

wtf is lolcats?

I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers.

I was hoping for 150 :(.

I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt

I'm guessing there was no fuse between the "cap"? Because I see a fuse in the pic for what looks like one of the hifonics amps and they still went up.

Silver turned to GOLD! the silver Brutus next to the cap turned gold... looks like a good deal to me! :pardon:

Something like this happened to me last year, but only it was the BATTERY itself... fuses wouldnt have helped my case lol.

Still glad this didnt turn worse, Im super suprised the carpet on the amp rack didnt catch on fire, then lead to the seat catching.. LUCKY.

Damn lucky, but I dont think a fuse would have stopped that...

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
