hi. i have 2 pioneer dual 4 ohm subs and i recently parallel wired them. since the subs themselves are wired parallel in my boz and then i have the 2 subs wired together through the terminals then one set of wires going to the amp does that mean i'm at 1 ohm or 2 ohms? i've heard both and i figured someone on here might know better. Thanks in advance!

As long as you keep a clean signal and set your gains right, those subs should be okay. The subs are 400 watts RMS apiece, meaning 800 watts RMS to the pair, and if your amplifier does put out 1200 watts RMS at 1 ohm, then you should be okay.

It definitely would help if you posted up what model amplifier you have, to make sure there isn't a better solution.

I have never heard of them, and guessing if they are a crappy off-brand, they won't put out rated.

fuck the plating. look at what the main metal used is. you could buy unicorn blood plated terminals but if its just covering up dog shit, whats the point

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

That's max power I believe, atleast from what google pulled up. So you really shouldn't hve to worry man. After box rise, you wont be getting the 1200 watts. Just dot clip your subs and you'll be set.

This is the link for the amp.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
