Jmoney2544
The light flickering is okay. When it's solid red for extended periods of times is when you have trouble. I love mine and users such as Techforce and Sanitarium have clamped more than 2200 wRMS. is that 2200 rms on no flickering wht so ever? I love mine and users such as Techforce and Sanitarium have clamped more than 2200 wRMS. my setup is a daily driver sql and i always have my bass going full force for extended amounts of time. thats why im worried buy more batts/alt that way you give more clean power. im getting the xs d2400 (3500 max amps) along with the redtop up front Quote Car: 2002 Buick Regal Wiring: Knu Kolossus 1/0 + JL 4 Gauge Big 3: Stinger HPM 1/0 Alternator: Stock 135 Amp Batterys: Optima RedTop (Hood) XS D3100 (Trunk) HeadUnit: Pioneer DEH-4200UB Subs: (2) AQ HDC3 12's Sub Amp: AQ 2200D Sub Box: 4.6 Cubes @ 36hz Mids & Highs: (Front) Rockford Fosgate Power T1693 3-Way 6x9's Mids & Highs: (Rear ) Rockford Fosgate Power T152S 2-Way Component 5.25" Speaker Amp: AQ4x90 Sound Dampener : 75 Ft Fatmat
memphisBred
Don't clip the amp and there's no problems. It' puts out rated with a clean signal. If your competing and you want a little more out of it a soft clip(flickering of the red light) is fine. Supercharged DCs
Haven't you read anyone's post? Flickering is alright mate... If your so worried about it then use a Oscope to set it & don't use the bass knob at all. Quote Bassless once again. corey0928
Just tune your system with an oscope and don't worry about the light unless its solid red

duff_thrust
well you'd have to look at your clipping light since the dynamics of music and basslines in different songs might clip easier than others. It's actually a great thing to have and one of my favorite features about my AQ amps other than the fact that they're bad ass.
