MrGrey13 Posted October 23, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2011 nice ride nice equipment..need a bigger amp tho..my buddy has the same 15s on a hifonics 2608d..they they take it all day..prolly seeing actual 900 to 1k per next..i would start with a new box..ur running 8.5" of port per cubic foot.. the general rule of thumb is 12 to 16" per..u want them bitchs 2 really get loud.. give them more port area.. my buddy has a 98 blazer 4 door and he does a 146 legal at 40hz.. n his box is tuned to 34hz..he can play anyhting from 26hz to 45hz very musical set up im planning on adding more power but thats after i get a touchscreen in and upgrade the front stage. and the next box i build will probably be for 4 15's. this one gets loud enough for now. MrGrey13 Posted October 30, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2011 waiting to order the touch screen so that project is on hold for another week or so... this is what i did this week. took the box out. heavy sob... box back in, moving it further back so i can get louder. and have more room for amps! making of the amp rack... cleats to raise amps. amp rack done, besides paint to match box. new box location.
