vega87
I plan on making a box for a Convertible Monte Carlo in the rear seats. The subwoofers are 2 18" Rockford Fosgate RFP-1418 and my question is which box would be better a ported or sealed box being that they would be in the rear seats in free air. bassinblazer
Ported, would be louder. 18's aren't exactly made for SQ so I would probably just go ported...Even in a sealed box they will be pretty loud, but still lack overall SQ because they aren't really made for that...Just my .02 on it. If you want SQ, get 8-12" woofers...even some 15's but 18's? Nahh.. BassinBlazer JL[RF][Kenwood][AQ] I need a new amp! Sell me your amp!

bassinblazer
yea, you should hear it, as long as it is a well designed and built box. BassinBlazer JL[RF][Kenwood][AQ] I need a new amp! Sell me your amp!
