OrionStang Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 (edited) This thread is intended to provide information about the built in clip light from the scoping and tuning of my 3.5kw today. The clip light on the bass knob comes on way before there is actually clipping occurring. I used an o-scope to set my H/U and then set the gain on my amp, and the light comes on before the wave squares off. Just an FYI for those looking to get the most out of the amp. If you don't have a scope, I suggest using the light as a reference until the gains can be scoped, as a precaution. Edited May 3, 2011 by OrionStang Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

OrionStang Posted May 3, 2011 Author Report Posted May 3, 2011 Scope used is a Vellman HPS10 if it matters to anyone. Also it is not a huge difference, but enough to hear when setting the gain. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
