Dan2427 Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 I recently bought a vehicle from a buddy because he wanted to get out of the payments cuz he lost his job and he had a decent size stereo in there but took it out cuz I had my own stuff to put in there. I got it home started installing the cd player and went to hook up the speakers and mine dont fit in the custom door pods he had made. My speakers are about due for replacement anyway, but I dont know if I wanna cut the pods up at all. I have 5.25 could possibly get to 5.5 cut out to work with and need 3 sets of speakers, perferably 2 components up front and 1 set of coax in the rear doors. He has Boston Pro60's up front and thats what the door pods fit but I want more mid bass. Or find some components that fit the hole, I have 2 18s on 4kw+ that will be goin in there. The vehicle is an 03 denali if that matters. mlstrass Posted May 16, 2011 Report Share Posted May 16, 2011 Ideally 2 mids per super tweeter is what you'd want. I have a LOT of seleniums and crescendo XST super tweeters in my vehicle.
