samslowp1s
This might be a NOOB question but, if I wanted to do some testing, could I use a blanket to fill the gaps when firing forward from trunk. It is only going to be for testing firing forward, I am not totally commited to the idea just yet, but would like to get it as close to sealed off as possible without making it permanent....or a big mess. LOL Does the tape thing actually work because I have seen people do it that way as well? Any ideas would be helpful, if it works out I will be doing a build log for the box as well as completely sealing it off. If I can get it totally sealed off, will I still need to use sound damping in the trunk or just focus on the inside panels?

__d_a_v_i_d__
It has potential to be louder if you sealed it off correctly . I did it with gorilla tape , and for ke facing port and sub was louder . For me ... Cuss I didn't seal it off right .... And even then I almost stop rattles in the trunk 90% it felt amazing cuss I hate it !!!! So yea u will focus all of it the cabin , if done correctly Quote Chevy Impala Shocker Sigs / TC Sounds 12s Sundown NS-1 | SAX 100.4 Sundown Neos | Dayton Audio Neos ETCCC ETCCC ETCCC My YouTube ---- Subcribe!! samslowp1s
Is their anything Duct Tape can't do? LOL Thanks for the info guys. I'll start on it in a little while, pictures and all just to see if it changes anything for my car. You don't see a lot of 91 Accords with big systems, hopefully I will be the first and loudest. Going to take a while though.

uhoh_45
the bottom didnt need to get done but i figured hell why not make it all look like its been taped to make it look loud and surprisingly i only used 3/4" of a big roll another alternative would be to (and i've been wanting to try this for a while) get a bunch of plastic bags and layer them inside eachother and then fill the bag with expanding foam so the bag becomes the shape you need and you will be able to take it out later if needed now im not sure if the bags will hold up but its been an idea in my head for a while i been wanting to test Quote R.I.P! samslowp1s
the bottom didnt need to get done but i figured hell why not make it all look like its been taped to make it look loud and surprisingly i only used 3/4" of a big roll another alternative would be to (and i've been wanting to try this for a while) get a bunch of plastic bags and layer them inside eachother and then fill the bag with expanding foam so the bag becomes the shape you need and you will be able to take it out later if needed now im not sure if the bags will hold up but its been an idea in my head for a while i been wanting to test OK, I just might try the plastic bag idea. I will let you know if it works or not. After checking it out in my trunk, their is not a lot I have to do to seal it off, I think. I'll give both ways a try and post my ugly pics later. Oh, I still have my 6.5's in the stock location, what do you think I should do with those? I saw you had you rears in boxes, thats why I asked.
