aswearingin Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 I will be running 2 1000.1 IX Kicker Amps to each of my l7 subwoofers. I also have a 350.4 to drive my 4 5x7 kicker door speakers, and two 6x9 in the back. I plan on running the 350.4 amp on 4gauge to the front, then both the 1000.1 amps to the kinetic hc 800. Will that be enough power for both of those amps to not have my lights flicker? Also do I run 1/0 gauge power wire from the pos terminal on the front battery to this one, then ground it with 1/0 gauge in the trunk somewhere? Also even though I have this battery will I still need a cap for both of those amps? Or a cap for each amp off the battery? Sorry so many questions but just want to clear some things up in my head.

FaTbOy911 Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 Biggest xs power battery u can fit under the hood and a d3100 in the rear with 0g make it right the first time belive me I bought 3 optimas and had to sell because after 3 songs ill get a huge voltage drop do it right go with xs power Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van.
