Any gas stations in SoCal without Ethanol?

If you tune for it you will actually increase performance. Ethanol has a higher octane so you can bump up timing and such. What do you have done that you are getting under 10 mpg?

Only throttle body, intake manifold, x-pipe and a very aggressive tune. I get over 20mpg on the freeway at 100mph(cruise control), but around town, forget about it.

if its tuned agressive why not try to do two maps on the ecu. idk if you can on mustans, i know on some cars you can. if not get a map that is agressive at a certain rpm band that you use on the freeway. like 4.8-7k rpm or so. but have them try to make it a smooth spike instead of slooow.............4.8k powaaaaaahhh.

She ain't that sexy. I wouldn't even let her blow me. Those 10 pounds of make up would end up all over my crotch.

I build a ''go fast'' car I will be doing an e85 tune

ethanol is alcohol, alcohol burns cleaner and makes more power, that is why you see methanol cars and other alcohol based drag cars

or this, but idk how hard it is to find e85 where you are located

So is e85 15% ethanol?

Nope, no piggybacking. Mustangs suck for mileage in the city. Scared to see what happens next year when te warranty runs out and the SC goes on. 5-6 mpg?

i hate the ethanol.

i get 8 mpg in the city and 12 on the freeway. but i hate that the ethanol boils in my fuel rails when i turn my truck off on a hot day. so at start up it feels like my engine is wanting to crap out on me

e85 is 15% gasoline

it burns cooler and is better for your car actually. I'd suggest redoing all your filters if you switch though

Didn't know that. How are e85 engines in the mpg department?

since you are getting a sc i would just do a conservative map on the ecu, we did that on a car we turboed, of course its faster cause you are forcing more air and fuel in,but if you have whoever tunes it for you to have the injectors to not use as much fuel as a agressive map, depending on the ignition and fuel set in the cells of the map the car should still haul ass but be good on gas when driving normaly

I would be careful about pulling fuel on a high compression SC motor, detonation from running lean would suck.

you live in a good place with a ton of good tuners though

this

also im pretty sure you can find someone that has a pretty good rep and can do the whole tune for you. call around and ask shops if they have done a similar application or tell them how you would want to have some gas millage but still make good power
