They had specs for an 18" enclosure tuned to 35-40hz at about 5 cubit feet after displacements of sub & port. The port was 80 square inches & 18 inches long. So would it be right to have port volume at: 1 inch wide, 4.5 inches high & 18inches deep.?? Seems a bit small?

Also fi you dont have a DD woofer then dont go off of DDs specs. But for starters, those are the best sounding "recommendations" I've seen from any manufacturer. Don't like sharing your knowledge? Welll.. Don't come here and grab others then! - GTFO.
mlstrass Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 that's the standard 16^2 per cube for a daily box, I've built a LOT of them like that. Have gone up to 20^2 for daily and it was still very musical...
