BassJunkie
Well last year my ac was toast so I replaced the compressor along with a few other parts. It seemed to work great for the first month or so after I had it vacuumed and recharged and then its already working its way downhill again. It worked flawlessly yesterday for about 75 miles and then it stopped working again. Now the only way to get it back on is to rev up the car to 6k+ and throw it into the next gear quickly which causes the compressor to kick back in.... is it over pressurized or underpressurized? or was it a junk compressor that I bought? 2000 pontiac sunfire 2.2L non ecotec Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. dlp123
sounds like you need to add a can of freon.never put 2 much oil in it cause it will not get cold
BassJunkie
Does low freon cause the ac compressor to disengage? I'll try adding some later tonight Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free.
