But like i said, A for effort, it looks alot better then alot of other things ive seen. the lines are completely straight...as it was cut with a table saw.... so i dont know what your seeing... maybe its cuz i had to use a shitty camera, or, i dunno you can tell me all day long its straight but theres no way in hell that line right below the play and track buttons of the unit is a straight line....ITS WAVY. it isnt terrible. i just wouldnt call it finished at this point. In all honesty maybe ive just became a little more bitchy about finish product since i learn all my fabrication from one of the best in the industry in my opinion. i know james can be brutally honest and come off like "Mr. Negative" sometimes......but it looks wavy and unfinished to me too nice execution on the pop out and removable setup though. "You can't control the volume from the screen...so I added this volume knob" I'm sure the videos don't show all the problem solving that went on. The outside lines are nice and straight I do believe James was talking about the inside lines on the perimeter of the screen. Which should be super easy to trim. Google it

But the finish of the paint doesn't match the dash and those lines look like they need touched up. Those are minor details though. The overall product is great and take all these comments as constructive criticism. You've done a good job so far and personally I would like to see you finish this thing off right. Keep up the good work! Even as a side job/hobby, you're still doing as good or maybe a little better than Fishman would. Fishman's shop is great at the polishing work but the function is usually lacking. And to me, looks come after function. You're at least 80% of the way there.
