Got metered yesterday..

Recommended Posts

So finally made it out to a show after a few months. New box..ended up doing a 148.9@43hz with absolutely ZERO testing prior to the event. That was also with only one battery and it's about done for. The other 2 puked on me a few weeks ago. Hopefully after i upgrade the batts, and test some i'll see the 150 i've been looking for for years!

If anyone has a 3rd gen explorer 4 door, and has some tips and tricks, shoot them my way!

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!

Why would you EVER WANT flex?
huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?

yeah i was happy with the score for sure. I think it would've been better if i had some fresh batteries. Also i wanna play around with the position of the box. It's all the way against the passenger side, and a few people told me just by centering the box would give me a few tenths. Not sure if it will, but definitely worth trying.

This is how it's set up right now.

What equipment are you running? I'm on mobile so can't see your signature. Nice numbers! :)

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Currently running 2 Nightshade 15's, wired to .5ohm on a 40.1. Only 1 extra battery now that 2 of them took a dump. Box is 7 cubes tuned to 39hz

Damn, great numbers again then! :)

I'm sure once your other batteries are up and running the extra bit of voltage will get you damn close to 150
