matt402 Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 i just clamped my power tonight. amp is a DD Z2 on 2 DC XL 18s in my burban. it can burp ~143 & BR 142. my peak is 38hz. box is 13 cubes tuned to 36hz, subs & port up. forgot to measure voltage drop FTL =[. (guessing its hi 12s) starting voltage was 14.2v. clamped power was 972w. amp is wired to 5.6ohm rising to 13ohm. not too bad i guess considering rated power is 1500 @ 4ohm & im doin 972w @ 13ohm...
