Anyone sympathizing with this man is simply insane and part of all the reasons I hate what our country has become. Learn something about context and maybe you won't take every small detail and blow it out of proportion. Problem solved Portal 2 is rated E EVERYONE 10+ hardly looks like ANYONE. and the E does not stand for educational. all i can say is this guy truly did go overboard. yes, i have adopted a little girl. and was myself adopted, by a man who had been adopted himself and all i could do was wish i could go see this guy and slap him for being such a bitch. seriously. was it unexpected? yes, i sure did not expect that to be in the video game. but you move on. if she was adopted it means she didnt have any parents....SO....basically he is just butt hurt because she would have been forced to confront an issue she was going to deal with anyways. its like getting mad when your kid finally finds out Santa is not real, but you werent the one to tell them. boohoo. and notice i say "WOULD HAVE". the child says she didnt hear it, and i dont for one second believe she is suppressing it because she is not ready to deal with. he himself admitted he turned it off hoping she would not have heard. All the second video showed was the opinion of e-thug gamer opinions that they typed on a message board, this guy got on camera because he was offended enough by it. He didn't sit behind a keyboard and talk trash. Not saying shes a "fatty" or whatever, if I was the father I'd be offended too but it's nothing to make a big deal out of. Shit, her parents didn't get stuck with her, they chose her out of love. All they need to do is explain that to her and she will understand when shes older. Just bump up the rating, this shouldn't be national news. She has probably heard things 10 times worse at school from her peers. As said its a videogame. Turn it the fuck off if you dont like it. I was at walmart the other day and the bitch at the door to give me a smiley sticker. Im offended, call the local news team and see if I can sue. There are so many other things to waste your life on than a video game, so why get so worked up about it? The next line the character says he has many friends that are adopted. Well now theyre gonna piss off the people who hate adopted people. You just cant please everyone. Also, I like how the news keeps referring to all the people who replied as 'gamers' like they are a mindless group of people all out to suck the blood of the innocent.
