So the max space for depth i have is 29" the box design calls for a 24.5" deep box, not including how far the sub surround sticks out. So the port is going to be about 4.5" from the trunk lid. Now I will and have already tried to get the guy I am building for to fire the subs into the car since he flips the seat down anyway...but hes not going for it.
