ShadowWolf9
I've been saving up since February and I finally have everything needed for my new system. All that's left is the box, but it's on the way. Just for a little perspective, this is what I'm coming from: JL 10w6v2 with a JL 500/1v2 in a sealed box that's not ideal for performance. It was more for aesthetics, but that no longer cuts it. Everything else was stock. New gear going in next week: Ascendant Audio Havoc 12" (Got this sucker in March, it has been hard to look at for over 2 months. Thanks, Nick!) Pioneer AVH-P3200DVD. (This has actually been in the car since the JL sub went in last August.) Hertz Mille MLK165. (Going from stock speakers to these babies will be NICE.) XS Power D3400. (I heard XS was the way to go.) Sundown Audio SAX-125.2 (I hope this is enough power for the MLKs) Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D (I've come to find amps sexy like the rest of you.) Knu Kolossus Flex 1/0awg, Krystal Kable RCAs, 12awg Speaker Wire. (4awg Streewires for mids already in car.) Second Skin Damplifier Pro Bulk Pack and Overkill (It was pricey, but I had to with all the glowing reviews here.) I'd say that's a quality upgrade from my first sound system to my second. I decided to put this in the junk section since I don't plan on recording a whole build unless the shop decides to document it. Yes, I'm having a shop do it. I don't want to screw up working on a brand new car. For those wondering the box will be 2.5cf with an aero port. I thought I'd just share my excitement as completion nears! If you have any tips or comments let me know. I hope these pictures don't end up too large.
