Nice. I don't think my pillars are big enough to properly angle the 4s though, oh well. I can't wait to get the rest of my speakers though. Just a couple more months.

My point exactly ... tweeters only on the A pillars crossed over to or about 2600 - 3000 htz with VERY good 6.5s in the kicks or doors and your good ...

They are going on the pillars anyway. 2 4"s in each pillar, 2 4"s on each side in the dash, 3 4"s in each front door, 1 4" in each back door. gotta squeeze all 16 in there some how...

Well, that's just the 16 4"s, that's excluding the tweeters and midbass. To be honest, I'm not building the car for crazy sound quality, I'm just trying to give it a little quality amongst the chaos that will be inside of it. It originally started out as just going to have 4 pairs of O2 AIR63s, then it turned into 8 pairs... I know it seems ridiculous, but for some stupid reason I'm absolutely serious about it.

This thread shouldn't be in the "SQ" section then ...

The guys I quoted are going to be mad at me over nothing ... that sux ...

I thought you wanted Sound Quality with Stageing and Imageing ... Not just to be VERY loud with alot of cancellation between drivers ...

Sorry bro ... If I would have known this I wouldn't have posted ... Best of luck to ya !!! :drink40:

first thing I could tell you (from years of sound quality competiton experience) less drivers better installed = better sound quality ...

second is how are you going to wire all of this up ?? less ohm loads on stereo amps = more distortion and ALOT less clarity ...

And most of all ... cancellation between drivers is not good

Honnestly, I'm just trying to help ...

But if thats what you want in a small vehicle ... then I'm just saying ...
