Supercharged DCs Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 First off, http://www.lunaramplifiers.com/ Now, these amps are produced locally, 30 minutes or so from my town. The local shop sells them, but they charge a pretty penny, so I'm wondering if these amps are any good. Are they SQ Based amplifiers? What technology or specs make them worth the money? Any reviews from users on here running them? Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Supercharged DCs Posted May 24, 2011 Author Report Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) I do as well, and from word of mouth (and a demo of the local shops daily driver*4 DD3515s on 8 Lunar amps*) they seem to be good. The price tag keeps me away though, as it's high dollar for small power, so there has to be something special about these. I don't remember exact pricing, but I do know when I went pick up my M1a, I looked at the pricing and was surprised. They may be worth it, but me personally taking the risk? Nope. I've seen good things about them though. There are a couple dudes on ca.com that had them, but I don't know if they are still active. These were OLD threads I was looking at. IIRC, they're A/B. Supercharged DCs Posted May 24, 2011 Author Report Posted May 24, 2011 Just how pricey are they? Between $400-$500 for the L1500 version I believe, which is rated 500w at 1ohm. Pricing will of course differ from dealer to dealer, but being so close to the manufacturer I cannot see the price being much less anywhere else.
