Need help with sub/port firing direction.

Recommended Posts

So im going to be getting a 15 FI Q and am building a new box for it. Its going in my 2001 grand cherokee. My question is what direction should I face the sub/port. My last setup was a 15 SX and I had the sub facing the roof with the port facing the back. It sounded really good but I was wondering if facing the sub back and port back would be better.

Thanks.

Yep you have to try for yourself, i would go with sub up/port back, that way, you can move the box around and face sub back/port side, sub side/port back, etc etc etc until you find the sweet spot, my explorer is louder with sub side/port back when i use a single sub...
