Selling my P1 12's

I am planning to sell my box and subs but I want to be fair. I have a couple P1 12s, 4Ohm models. I built a custom box, 1.8 cubes per sub and tuned to 37Hz. I have them powered by a Rockford r150-2 and for the little amount of power they are getting it sounds pretty good, itchy nose and all.

I really don't want to sell them but, I have too. I am going to put them on craigslist, my question is what would be a fair price for this set up? I only spent $90 on the subs and amp together and I built the box from 1 sheet of 3/4 MDF. I have them listed at $185...does that sound fair? Too high...Too low?

Would a 12 inch DC level 4/XL get louder than these with the full RMS and a good box? What would you recommend as my next set up? Budget for subs and amp is $600 or less and it is going in a 91 Accord trunk sealed off, firing forward.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Regardless of what your asking price is you will get people who say your price is high on Craigslist. That's just how Craigslist is.

That being said one level 3 could get louder IMO

I looked in the San Diego Reader and Car Audio Heaven is selling those same subs new for $49 each. Plus tax your looking at $107 rounded off to the nearest dollar. How much did you pay for your wood? Pre fab boxes go for about $50 plus $5 in tax here in Diego, so you got $162 so far. What is it worth to you is the question you should ask.

So it is up to you, got a pic of the box you made? I would say you would have to sell them at $150 to get rid of them on CL, otherwise just keep them and sell them to a friend or some one who doesn't know how to price check items online!

I did lower the price to $175, I figured it would give me some room to haggle and still wind up at $150 or above. Where is SD are you? I am near Spring Valley. Have you heard anything about local comps here.

I would really like to go with DC, probably a single level 3/4 12. What would be good enough to power it with?

I have stock electrical right now. Will I need another batt for above 1000RMS?

91 Honda Accord, big 3 done in 1/0. Looking into another alt but other than Mechman the biggest I can fit would be 160 amps. I will build the box and fire it forward from the trunk, sealed to hell.
