HotRodHam
Has any one had their car broken into with an alarm. If so what happened or has the alarm help ? my car got broken into even though i have an alarm... they bent my door so there was a 4 inch gap and they pressed my trunk release button (im guessing) but usually if ur doors r unlocked from the inside ur alarm should go off. my alarm doesnt go off if the window is smashed though... cuz ive tested my alarm and the only way u can set it off is unlocking from the inside 18" Sundown Zv4 D2JL 1000/1 V1XS Power D3200

Berto
I was never robbed with an alarm...usually they use guns or knives...lmfao lol I wouldn't hesistate to guss that most people that had their cars robbed had alarms (since people that have a lot of money into their car have alarms). And like it's been said, an alarm won't stop your car from being stolen. The thing that can help is you reaction time to it going off and what you do about it. I work with a guy that was a car jacker before and he said that if it takes longer than a min they had to leave it alone because they had messed up. He said that from the time your alarm 1st goes off to the time they kill it, it should only take about 15 seconds. Don't knowhow much of it was true though. That's not good. So much time and money put into a vehicle and nothing to even try to protect it.
