texasbred
Is there a particular reason the port faces the to the side instead of the rear? Yes I am a It's just with most builds I see the port facing the rear. 2011 Chevy CC Texas Edition 2wd. dwright27
Makes sense that it scores that much 4 8's 2 15's have near same amount of cone area but definatly more options with the 8's I wasn't some dd's my self. Very impressive numbers! Cone area is calculated by the radius of the sub squared, then multiplied by pi (3.14), then multiplied by the number of drivers. So 1 8" has 4" radius, 4 squared is 4x4=16. 16xpi (3.14) = 50.24 square inches per woofer. So 50.24x4 = 201 square inches. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. Yes I am a It's just with most builds I see the port facing the rear. you ain´t a noob just because you ask somthing hommie, some cars are louder with port side, some with port up, depends on the cabin, on this application, i´m pretty sure he did port side because a port back would mess with the airflow since it would have to be a L shape because the box isn´t too deep and the subs are up...
