CJ18 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Can someone with Torres box calc help me out with getting the tuning on a box please. Quote
Supercharged DCs Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 (edited) Its a trap! But if your serious, what is the problem? Edited June 2, 2011 by Supercharged DDs Quote Bassless once again. CJ18 Posted June 2, 2011 Author Report Posted June 2, 2011 Nope no trap I just have a mac that wont run the program. Trying to figure out if the dimension I have will work. Trying to squeeze batteries, amps and a box big enough for an SMD is a pain in the ass. Quote
CJ18 Posted June 2, 2011 Author Report Posted June 2, 2011 I have 7.40ft3 gross airspace. I need a port with 16in2 per cube and tuned to 32hz. port height would be 18.75, width and length can be adjusted to get the port area and tuning needed. Quote
Supercharged DCs Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 (edited) Let me see if I can whip something up. Woofer displacement, bracing displacement please. Dimensions for use as well. EDIT: Nvm, just realized I'm on mobile, no computer access at the moment. Torres needs to make a app! Edited June 2, 2011 by Supercharged DDs Quote Bassless once again. CJ18 Posted June 2, 2011 Author Report Posted June 2, 2011 (edited) .26 on the sub and say .5 for bracing. Dimension are a bit of a problem since the box is odd shaped. Edited June 2, 2011 by CJ18 Quote
OrionStang Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 I just guessed for dimensions and the ports common walls, came up with this. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
CJ18 Posted June 2, 2011 Author Report Posted June 2, 2011 I just guessed for dimensions and the ports common walls, came up with this. Thanks. Instead of using dimensions, you can just type in 7.40 in the desired gross volume box and figure the port from that to get an exact tuning. I would do it but have no way to use the program. Damnit I love my mac but it is fucking useless when it comes to this. Torres needs to make a damn app!!! Quote
OrionStang Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Never used it that way, but give me a sec. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
CJ18 Posted June 2, 2011 Author Report Posted June 2, 2011 Sorry for the crude drawing but this is the design I am trying to work with. Quote
