I seafoamed my 2002 jeep tj as per the directions on the can. When I started it up, I was expecting a huge plume like what I see in the youtube videos - but I only got about 10 second of smoke similar to what my exhaust looks like on a cold morning.

Is there something I did wrong? I poured the seafoam in rather slow since I was paranoid about hydro-locking the engine.

Straight down the throttle body. I decided against the vacuum hose since it looked like it would only get the 2 or 3 rear most cylinders in the engine. (4 liter inline 6)

When I seafoamed my 2001 Impala 3.8 for the first time at 110k miles. I barely got any smoke at all, That's usually a good thing, meaning your motor isn't that dirty. I got smoke for about 6 seconds and that was all. I poured mine in the Brake booster vacuum line.

3rd can in oil pan, 3rd in vac hose, 3rd in gas tank. Don't kill the engine as some idiots do by pouring it in the vac lines too fast. You DON'T want to do that. If it's never been done before on that car, it might just be you did it wrong.

If you pour it in slowly the motor probably burned it off as you poured. I personally don't believe the Seafoam hype.

Over what period of time should I pour it in? I think I did it over the course of 80-90 seconds.

I have heard of it helping sticky lifters and also helps clean injectors but have yet to try it out myself.

That's what I'm shooting for
