im curious as to why you are so against keeping the motor in the ported side

Ive always heard you want the motor in the ported part so u can smell it if it gets hot.

its a band pass 4th order the sub is in a sealed enclosure how would you smell it un less you inverted the sub and ive played and sen 100's of 4th orders even some with the worlds loudest cars none of them invert in a 4th order

You've NEVER seen anyone invert the subs in a 4th order? Then you aren't looking. Hell, more than half the builds RIGHT here are that way.

Im working on a bandpass t-line and the motor for my box is designed to be in the port section, though that is mainly because i have a shallow sealed section, due to space limitations
