Opinions? do I get another sub?

Ok So I started thinking That maybe I should get a third sub. Current setup 2 dc level 3 with level 4 soft parts 10's running on an aq2200. Subs are dual 1s so I have them at 1 ohm. They are sealed. I have enough room for another one sealed to recommended specs. I Have a second aq 2200 that I am keeping for my next truck build in a little over a year and I want to do 2 2200s on 4 10s so Im thinking get one more 10 now and Ill have 3 out of the 4 and I can wire them to either .67 on one 2200 for now or 1.5 I think. Probably play it safe and go with 1.5. But anyone think its worth it to add the third (keeping in mind I want to add a fourth down the road). What do you guys think?

Why not go ported? 2 10s won't take much space.

If you have the room, how could more cone area be bad? I would add the 3rd and if your electrical is up to par, wire down to .67 nominal

I just switched from 4 15's in the ext cab no back seat obviously and I loved it but hated how much space it took up so I have the 2 10s now under the backseat not taking up any passenger or usable room and I have the room for the third on the floor over the hump on the floor in the middle of the back. theres never a middle passenger back there so taking the middle of the floorspace is no issue. And im sort of thinking ahead because when I pay my truck off which should be in about a year n a half I am going to get a new truck and I plan to make a custom backseat/box for 4 of these subs and breakout my other 2200 thats sitting on a shelf. Hopefully iF I can make the seat(box) big enough Ill go ported on that

If you have the space to go ported with the 2 10s, I would. But if not, I would definitely add another 10 sealed. If you have the space for it and the money, and plan to get one eventually regardless, there is no reason not to.

if you have room for one more 10" you have enough room for the two ported. after the loss in power to each sub, i dont think you will notice much difference adding the 3rd sub unless you go with .67ohm. go ported and you will get a very noticeable increase.

Yeah the electrical isnt bad but its not great Got a 240 amp iraggi :-/ and my stock battery plus a yellowtop which is plenty for just the 2200. Big 3 and all 0 gauge

I just figured Id get some of your input cuz i've seen it before on here people just say just change your box go ported it will be louder. which i know is true but I just have a different situation because I dont want to go all out with a build when I plan on getting a new truck in less than 2 years. To run both amps I would need a bigger alt and either 1 really good battery or another yellowtop or two. I dont plan on doing anything else electrically to this truck
