I have a 270 amp alt on 2 g31s on 3k at 0.5 and I stay at 14 full tilt . . Maybe a bad ground ? Decaf Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 you dont really NEED voltage drop just ac v and ac a the other is just nice to have right, but it helps to figure out amp efficiency that way when u clamp similar amps u can see which draws less current and produces more for example u might get a higher score with a sundown3500 vs an aq3500 simple because of efficiency
